The mouth can be a breeding ground for poisoning and food poisoning.

If there is a poisoning issue, vomiting and purgation therapy can be used to get rid of any remaining poison in the digestive tract. To detoxify and cleanse the heart, Tamra bhasma is administered and followed by Swarna bhasma for an extended period of time – this process turns your body into pure gold (known as Hemapanga).

Gold Bhasma can be administered over an extended period of time without harming anyone, just as water drops do not touch the leaves of a lotus if given to someone over time. This same approach is taken with Gara Vishu (chronic poisoning).

There are instances in which eating two or more types of foods together or having certain kinds of processing can make the food poisonous. This is known as incompatible food and should never be mistaken for poison or artificial poisoning. 29.

Anupa mamsa is composed of Masha, Kshaudra, Ksheera and Virudaka; meat from marshy areas is incompatible with honey, black gram, milk, germinated grains, or honey.
Bisa (Radish – Raphanus sativus), Mulaka (Radish), or Guda jaggery cannot be combined with fish.
Fish that contains milk, particularly Chilichima fist milk, is incompatible with this protocol. 30.

Pork should never be eaten in conjunction with porcupine meets, nor (Kukkuta) spotted deer should ever be eaten together with curds, uncooked meat and the bile.

Anything that causes the Doshas in our body to increase without eliminating them is classified as Viruddha incompatibility.

Important Note: Panchakarma also involves increasing Dosha in the body before expelling it; however, since these energies are eliminated there is no harm done. Conversely, Viruddha Ahara involves eating foods that cause an increase in Dosha which could lead to toxic symptoms.

People suffering from insomnia are encouraged to consume wine, milk curds, meat soup, and other curds as food as well as oil massages and gentle squeezing of one’s body parts; applying oils that nourish; taking a relaxing embrace from your spouse arms with feelings of satisfaction that you have done good deeds; all these will bring comfort to mind and body as desired – including restful sleep! If following the celibacy regimen is followed without falling in love with sexual relationships and content with life’s joys then sleeping won’t take much longer than normal.

Sex – It is advised to stay away from women who don’t sleep with their faces up, is on their menstrual cycle, is unpopular or disliked, have dirty and unattractive personal parts, are overweight or extremely emaciated, and newly born with pregnancy. Other women (other than his wife) as well as nuns and other animals such as buffalos or goats should also be avoided.

Avoid sexual relations with monasteries, the home to rulers, gods, and teachers. Also, steer clear of burial sites where torture or sacrifice has taken place as well as meetings with four routes.
Never ignore special days of significance (new moon or full moon, eclipse celebrations, mourning days, and more).

Be mindful when eating and drinking anything non-sexual on days that aren’t allowed for sexual activity.
